Perseus

The Doom Fulfilled, 1888, Southampton City Art Gallery, part of a series of paintings revolving around Perseus, created by the Pre-Raphaelite artist Edward Burne-Jones

Back to where I started this morning. With Perseus.

I’ve been thinking about him quite a bit over the past few days. If you know the myth then this will make sense.

Use the highly polished shield to fight.

The reflection is the reality.

It’s just been flipped by those who should never be.

P.S. I adore Burne-Jones’ paintings :o)
