I’ve always loved this poem.

I remember writing it out as a child – in my very best handwriting, with a proper pen.


“If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
    And treat those two impostors just the same”
This is inscribed above the entrance to centre court at Wimbledon. Which reminds me…It’s nearly here. Yay! End of June.
A million years ago I saw so many of the Greats live at Wimbledon. Mac, Nastase, Billy-Jean, Borg, Connors. Bring back the Real Players!
“You cannot be serious.”
Why on earth do I have the woodburner on?
Who turned off summer? :o(
